Common questions
Frequently asked questions
How is a companion different from a caregiver?
Companions focus on emotional well-being, engagement and outings for independent elders. Caregivers additionally handle personal care like bathing and mobility support. Many families start with companionship and add care later.
How are companions matched?
By language, gender preference, temperament and shared interests — and we replace the match at no cost if the rapport isn't right.
What hours are available?
From 2–4 hours a day up to full-day arrangements, on weekdays, weekends or a custom schedule.
How we help
What this service looks like at home
Loneliness is the health problem nobody writes a prescription for. When children live in another city or another country, an elder's day can shrink to television and waiting — and research is blunt about what isolation does to blood pressure, memory and the will to stay active. Our companionship service places a trained, background-verified companion with your parent for a few hours a day or a few days a week, matched carefully on language, temperament and interests. This is not passive supervision: companions share meals and conversation, take gentle walks, play cards and board games, read the newspaper aloud, help with video calls to grandchildren, accompany elders to the market, the bank or a temple visit, and simply notice — a skipped meal, a new unsteadiness, a low mood — and tell the family. Every companion is trained in senior communication, basic first response and dementia awareness, and a supervisor checks in with your family weekly. Available across Delhi NCR, Varanasi and Chandigarh/Mohali, companionship pairs naturally with our caregiver and doctor-visit services as needs grow.
